The Day the Circus Came to Town…
It was a perfect Vancouver weekend.
We attended Cirque du Soleil’s Amaluna under the big top. Absolute magic! I highly recommend that you see Amaluna if the touring show comes to a city near you. It is mysterious, seductive, and mesmerizing. This weekend was gloriously sunny and yes, we get a little crazy for sun in this part of the world at this time of year. I know, just wait and see how nutty we get by March. It seemed that everyone was enjoying that great yellow orb in the sky,including our four legged beasts. The above photos were taken at a local park replete with riding trails. It was late afternoon and horses and their riders were returning to the parking lot, but do you think I could get a shot with a horse in the background? Sheesh! Hopefully, another time.
My thrifted Ann Taylor jacket was my muse today.
The colour, the styling, the beautiful lining. It has been
impeccably tailored. {Happy sigh}
Today, I am linking up with Patti at Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday. Please be sure to check out the fabulous participants.

Gorgeous jacket. The lining is what is truly fabulous. It adds such a pretty “secret” touch. Your scarf looks so good with it.
Thank you Shirl. I new you would like this one.
Thank you Patti.
I loved the jacket, but when I saw the lining, I couldn't say no.
Thanks Rebecca. The camera really wanted this jacket to be yellow, but it is actually a light green shade with a strong yellow tone. My own computer also makes it look yellow. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm glad you appreciate the lining. It's those little touches that make a garment special.
I am like a groupie for Cirque. Saw it this summer–IT IS THE BEST ARTISTIC ENTERTAINMENT! I sell it to all my friends!
Love your jacket! Is it like a lime yellow?
You are always a breath of fresh air in your colors … as I sit here thinking all monochromatic! Great reminder, as always.
Yes! I googled lime yellow, and there was the colour of my jacket. Thanks for your help. This is our third Cirque, and we are never disappointed.
Mmmm, yes I do think in rainbow colours, LOL.
Very cute! Love that color on you! And the boots are fab! xx The Golden Girls
