Last weekend, the mister and I joined some friends in Storybrooke, Maine. Once Upon A Time fans know what I’m talking about. Storybrooke is a fictional seaside town in Maine and the central location for at least part of the TV series created by Lost writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The show jumps back and forth between present day Storybrooke, and Fairytale Land. As you may have guessed, this fantasy-drama is filmed here in Vancouver, and I am about to dispel a little of the magic. Okay, not really…but I am sharing a few pics of buildings you may recognize. Over the years I’ve ended up with a lot of bags that I reuse for cat litter collection. Our city bylaws require that we double bag used cat litter so I still find myself using plastic bags for this purpose. I was feeling a little overrun with bags recently, and discovered this nifty method of folding bags into tidy little packages. Just…

Happy Monday. It was a soggy week here in Vancouver. I live in a rain forest minus the forest. Despite all the rain, we managed to snap these outfit photos with nary a raindrop. And to put a positive spin on things, April showers will bring May flowers. The highlight of my weekend was seeing the musical production of Billy Elliott. It was an endearing show, and the young talent was really to be commended. The mister and I went to an afternoon matinee, and…
