The Super Online Sewing Match…

Big, big news for me here lovely readers!  I have been selected as a contestant in The Super Online Sewing Match .  Wahoo, this is so very exciting for me!  Kristin and Beth, of Sew, Mama, Sew, are the masterminds behind the contest.  They have established a North American online sewing match complete with prizes.  The contest is co-sponsored by Sew, Mama, Sew and Janome,  and several online pattern companies and online fabric retailers are in on the game too.   Ten lucky sewists were selected to participate, and did I say, the contest has started? That’s right, I should be sewing at this very moment.  Things went from pie in the sky, ‘I could do that.’ to, gulp, game on, in the blink of an eye.  Each week, we are presented with a new sewing challenge, and each…

Simplicity 8229

{My DYT Type One Style   Sundress  Simplicity Pattern 8229 Trilby Style Hat  Joe Fresh   Shoes  Kenneth Cole Reaction and last seen here Polish  Zoya LC} Hello my lovely readers.  Remember this post?  I rambled on for a bit about a little gray cat and her ever widening girth. There I was, a first-time pet guardian…I say first-time because Puss stepped into my life without ever really needing a guardian.  He came with purpose; step into human’s life; leave paw print on human’s heart…Anyways, I had a newly adopted kitty in my care, and she was having wee kits of her own.  So, I did my homework and dutifully read  various books and magazine articles. {was there even an internet in 1993?}   I scholared me-self on all things feline pregnancy.  Sixty three days…just nine weeks…and Oscar…
