In this particular clip each of the five experts share photos of their wedding rings {it’s a Valentine’s theme}, and each of the women are also wearing the shade of pink that supports their energy type. Marcy, who’s dominant energy is type one like myself, looks so fresh and spring-like, that I was ready to think pink myself. Fortunately the thrift goddesses…
Theodor Seuss Geisel, March 2, 1904 – September 24, 1991 Although Dr Seuss wrote 48 books, I remember but a single one, and that memory is oh so vivid, that it could have been yesterday, and not almost fifty years ago, that I read it, over and over. Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories Even to this day, I feel faintly uneasy when I think of Gertrude McFuzz. Do you remember her? The bird with only one tail feather who was jealous of her friend that had two. And then she got some more feathers, and they grew, and they grew. Apparently, ukulele playing is a popular past time here in Vancouver. So much so that there is a ukulele school, Ruby’s Ukes {see it here}, and an annual music festival. Of course I had to attend. I cleared my heavy…
And now, for my next trick…finding the balance between beauty and bouncing. Nobody told me blogging would be a balancing act, or a bouncing act for that matter. Truthfully, nobody told me anything. I slipped in the back door, and have been making it up as I go ever since. I love the visual arts, and I have recently been messing about creating some artwork that is a combination of my own photography and random, yet meaningful to me, quotations. The musings of Rumi are a personal favourite; however, my likes run from Dr. Dyer to Dr. Seuss and everything in between. I plan to share some of these little gems with you over the coming weeks. Playing with photography instead of paints is a little like jumping off the end of a pier…I…
